YAKIMA, WASHINGTON -- Mrs. Louise Kittilsen, whose home was at 702 N. 16th Ave., Yakima, died on Wednesday in the Good Samaritan Nursing Home. She was 91.
Mrs. Kittilsen had resided at Yakima for many years. She came to Washington state in 1909 from Iowa, where she was born.
Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Alida Sheppard, and a nephew, Levi Kittilsen, both of Yakima.
Shaw and Son's is in charge of funeral arrangements.
NOTES:
1. Carrie Louise Kittleson was born on August 5, 1869 at St. Ansgar, Mitchell county, Iowa, to Johanes F. (John) and Bertha (nee Holtan Gullickson) Kittleson.
2. She was married at St. Ansgar, Iowa, on Oct. 1, 1898 to Carl Otto Kittilsen of Stoughton, Wisconsin. Carl was the son of Levi and Anne (Olson) Kittilsen.
3. Carl was born on Feb. 26, 1866 in Stoughton, and died on Sept. 10, 1947 in Yakima.
4. Alida Sheppard, Louise's niece, was the daughter of Carl's brother, Kristian Oliver Kittilsen and his wife, Signe Joital.
5. Louise's nephew, Levi Oscar Kittilsen, was the son of Kristian and Signe. Levi's wife was named Edith.
