Arthur C. Hollatz, age 82, of St. Ansgar, Mitchell County, Iowa, died on Monday, September 26, 1994 at Mitchell county Regional Health Center, Osage, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Greg Eilers officiating. burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery with military rites by the Walter T. Enneberg Post 358 of the American Legion.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar.
Arthur C. Hollatz was born May 6, 1912 in Mitchell County. He was the son of Albert C. Hollatz and Helena Erdman Hollatz.
He was married to Mary Annabelle Larson on May 18, 1941 at St. Ansgar, Iowa. They had three sons, including a set of twins. Art served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include three sons: James of Muscatine, Iowa, Thomas of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, and Richard of Minnetonka, Minnesota; four grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie Dieterich of Osage, and Edna Mueller of Fort Morgan, Colorado; and one brother, Ortwin Hollatz of Osage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers and two sisters.

Albert married Mary Annabelle Larson March 18, 1941 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa. The couple had three sons [Jimmy, Dick and Tom]. He worked as a farmer and a carpenter.
Albert died September 26, 1994 at St. Ansgar, Iowa and was buried at the Immanuel Cemetery, St. Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.
