Theodore John Muller, age 85, of Osage, Mitchell county Iowa, died on November 10, 2008, at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 14, 2008, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1921 317th Street, south of Osage, with Pastor Byron Northwick officiating. Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery.

Theodore was born October 7, 1923, on the family farm in Cedar Township, Mitchell County, the son of John H. and Emilie (Troge) Muller. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. John's Lutheran Church. He attended Osage schools. Theodore farmed his entire life.

He was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where he served in various capacities on several boards and committees. Theodore also served on the Faith Lutheran Home Board of Directors.

Theodore is survived by a sister, Eilene Muller (Vern) Morische of rural Rudd; six nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Leona Muller, Lorene Muller Brand; two brothers, Lloyd and Eldred Muller; a sister-in-law, Laura Muller; and a brother-in-law, James Brand.
