LIEVROUW, MAERTENS, BLONDELL

Birth: Nov. 3, 1900
Death: Jun. 10, 1979

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Henry Lievrouw 78, of St. Ansgar at the Schroeder Funeral Home there. The Rev. John Smith of the St. Ansgar Catholic Church was in charge. Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery, Mr. Lievrouw died June 10, 1979 at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City Iowa.

Henry Lievrouw was born Nov. 3, 1900 in Denterham, Belgium, the son of Ivo and Rosedale (Blondell) Lievrouw. He came to the United States in 1910. Henry was married to Ann M. Maertens at the Catholic Church in Osage. He worked for many years for the late Axel Hansen Sr. and son's.

Surviving is his wife, Ann, three sons: George Lievrouw of Menominee Falls WS, Ronnie Lievrouw of Mason City IA, Terry Lee of Florence AZ; one daughter, Bonnie Lou (Mrs. Dean) Anderson of St. Ansgar; twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three brothers: Dell Lievrouw of Osage, Morris and Oscar Lievrouw of Mitchell; two sisters, Mary (Mrs. Joe) Verbregge of Moline Illinois, Mrs. Selma DeSmet of Rock Island, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Martha (Mrs. Rene) Pattyn.

Burial: Saint Ansgar Cemetery, St. Ansgar, Mitchell County, Iowa
