ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Robert Arnold Bublitz, 77, of St. Ansgar, Mitchell couunty, Iowa, died Saturday (Aug. 30, 2008) at his home in St. Ansgar.
Memorial services for Robert will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar with the Rev. Byron Northwick officiating.
Interment will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar.
Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, is in charge of arrangements, 641-713-4920.

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Robert A. Bublitz, age 77, of St. Ansgar, died Saturday on August 30, 2008, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Byron Northwick, officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar.
Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home of St. Ansgar is in charge of arrangements.
Robert was born on June 26, 1931, to Arnold R. and Wilma (Lang) Bublitz in Mitchell County, Iowa. He married Patricia Cumming. He was a trucker and after retiring started mowing cemeteries and started a lawn care service. He always enjoyed staying active.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Curtis; brother, Duane; brother-in-law, Richard Trettin.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, of St. Ansgar; one son, James (Julie) Bublitz, of Waverly; two daughters, Darlene Bublitz, of Clear Lake, and JoAnn (John) Fisher of Mitchell; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirly (Curtis) Sheets, of Iowa City, and Delores Trettin, of St. Ansgar.
