Anna (Miller) Pajer, age 81, of Osage, Mitchell County, Iowa, died on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Home, 914 Davidson Drive, in Osage, with Rev. Roy Ott officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell, Iowa. Visitation was from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.

Anna was born on May 4, 1927, near Mitchell, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Gina (Erickson) Miller. She attended school in Mitchell.

Anna married Frank Pajer on November 30, 1946, in Mitchell.

Anna is survived by her three children: Pat Schotanus of Osage, Jim (Charlene) Pajer of Carpenter, Chuck Pajer of Osage; by five grandchildren: Robert (Laura) Schotanus of Osage, Brandon, Andrea, and Ashley Pajer of Carpenter, and Michael Pajer of St. Ansgar; by a great-grandchild, Mitchell Schotanus of Osage; by a step-brother, Kenneth Goplerud of St. Ansgar; and by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pajer; by her parents, Carl and Gina Miller; by two sisters, Helga Nemeth, and Ermma Weldon; by a brother, Lawrence Miller; by a step-sister, Elfrieda Uzlik; and by four step-brothers: Chris Miller, Hans Miller, Jean Olson, and Linton Olson.

Funeral arrangements were made by Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage -- (641)732-3706.
