Aaron Nolt, age 43, of Osage, Iowa, died on Friday, June 8, 2007, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

The family received friends at the Aaron Nolt home, 34162 Orchard Lane, Osage, Iowa, from 2 until 4 p.m. and from 6:30 until 8 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007.

Family services for Aaron Nolt were held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at the home of Wesley Nolt, 3025 320th Street, Orchard, Iowa. Funeral services followed at the Cedar Valley Old Order Mennonite Church, 320th Street, Orchard, Iowa.

Aaron Zimmerman Nolt was born May 16, 1964, in Earl Township, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Reuben and Lydia Ann (Zimmerman) Nolt. On October 17, 1985, Aaron was united in marriage to Alma Leid. In 1995 they moved from Pennsylvania to Osage, Iowa.

Aaron is survived by his wife Alma Nolt of Osage, Iowa; by seven children, Wesley (Suzanne Stauffer) Nolt of Orchard, Iowa, Lorann, Julia, Rose Elaine, Darla, Alma Jean and Aaron Jay Nolt, all at home; by his mother and step father, Lydia Ann Nolt Martin and Joseph Martin; by seven brothers: Ivan (Ella Mae Burkholder) Nolt of New Holland, Pennsylvania, Reuben (Edna Zimmerman) Nolt, of Floyd, Iowa, Wayne (Elva Brubacker) Nolt of Charles City, Iowa, Melvin (Eva Sauder) Nolt of Leola, Pennsylvania, Lloyd (Anna Leid) Nolt of Osage, Iowa, Peter (Rosanne Martin) Nolt of Osage, Iowa and Lawrence (Thelma Nolt) Nolt of Charles City, Iowa; and by four sisters: Elsie Nolt of New Holland, Pennsylvania, Lizzie (Ivan) Burkholder of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Miriam (Noah) Burkholder of Rushville, New York, and Ruth (Jonas) Burkholder of Stanley, New York; and by 12 step brothers and sisters.

The Hauser Funeral Home, (641) 228-2323, www.hauserfh.com , in Charles City, was in charge of arrangements.
