Obituary-Roberts
Hannah Aller was born in Evansville, Rock county, Wisconsin, on August 25, 1842, where she attended school and grew to womanhood.
Her mother died when she was 18 years old and being the oldest of two daughters, she kept house for her father Peter Aller, until in 1863, when she was married to W. T. Roberts.
They lived in Union township, Wisconsin, until 1871, when they moved to Mitchell county, Iowa, and made this county her home ever since. She united with the Baptist church at Union, Wisconsin, when she was 18 years old, and was a member of the Baptist at Little Cedar, where she passed away.
She has always been an active member and took a deep interest in church affairs all her life. She was a member of the Mission Society and took an active part in the work of the society.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, W. T. Roberts, and five children; Claude Roberts, Boise, Idaho; Nellie Frazer, Parkers Prairie, Minnesota; Claire Roberts, Estelle Houghton, and Maud Appleton, of Little Cedar, besides nine grandchildren, Clinton Roberts, and Harry Houghton, of Little Cedar; Theron Frazer and Gail Frazer Rindy, of Parkers Prairie Minnesota; Claude, Mary, Daniel, Harold and Henry Roberts, of Boise, Idaho.
She was a good wife, mother and home maker and worked for things worth while, the home christianity.
She passed away, May 9, 1919, age 76 years, 8 months and 12 days.
Funeral service was held in the Little Cedar Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. A. S. Cross, of Osage, Sunday afternoon, May 11. Burial in the Little Cedar, cemetery.
