Heart Attack Fatal
to G. B. SchraderFuneral services will be held tomorrow, Friday, at the Methodist church in Osage, for George B.
Schrader, 76, of Osage, who died at his home Monday morning. Mr. Schrader was known to have a heart condition, but had not been ill prior to his death which was caused by a heart attack.The Rev. Robert L. Smith, Methodist pastor, will be in charge of the services. C. R. Champion and Sons are making the arrangements, and burial will be in the Osage cemetery.
George Bernard Schrader was born Nov. 16, 1887, at Lerr, East Freisland, Germany, the seventh child of Benjamn and Margaret Schrader. He accompanied his parents to the United States while he was a small child, settling in Iowa, where he grew to manhood.
Nona Ellen Miller and George Schrader were married June 14, 1915. They established their home in Mitchell county, where he farmed until retiring in 1945. For the past 19 years he has been a farm feed company representative.
Mr. Schrader was a member of the Methodist church for more than 50 years.
He was preceded in death by one son, Rolland, who died in 1950 at the age of 21 years. His parents also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Nona, two sons, Delos of Arcadia, California; Harold (Gus) of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Marguerite, Mrs. David Fisher of Pierre, So. Dakota; eight granddaughters; and four sisters: Mrs. Archie Piper of Rock Rapids, Mrs. K. H. Husiman of Luverne, Minnesota, Mrs. Dennis Whalen of Fallon, Nevada, Mrs. J. H. Jungling of Owatonna, Minnesota.
