RICEVILLE, IOWA-- Funeral services for Danny Edward Fjetland, 69, of rural Riceville, were held Saturday Dec. 30, 2006 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Riceville, Iowa, with Rev. Michael Parris officiating. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery, Osage, Iowa. Danny passed away on Thursday Dec. 28, 2006 at his residence.
Survivor's include his wife, Ivadel of Riceville, son Raymond (Deanna) of Racine, Minnesota, two daughters, Becky (Greg) Fox of Riceville, and Debra Perzynski of Osage, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, four brothers and four sisters.

Danny Edward Fjetland, 69, of rural Riceville, Iowa passed away on Thursday December 28, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services were held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Riceville, Iowa at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2006. Burial was at Osage Cemetery in Osage, Iowa.
Danny, son of Dan and Sadie Van Buskirk Fjetland, was born April 21, 1937 in Rowan, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Ivadel B. Johnson on December 28, 1958 in Osage, Iowa. Danny was a truck driver and farmer. He was the owner of Fet’s Bar in Riceville before retiring.
Survivor’s include his wife, Ivadel of Riceville, his son Raymond and his wife Deanna and their children Josh and Jessica of Racine, Minnesota, two daughter’s: Becky and her husband Greg Fox and their children Mitch, Nick, Jo Jo, and Jake of Riceville, Iowa and Debra Perzynski of Osage, Iowa and her children Jonathon Perzynski, Felicia Perzynski and her children Drake and Ashton Losee, four brothers: Eldon of Riceville, Lorin and his wife Marcella of Belmond, Iowa, Larry and his wife Ruby of LeRoy, Minnesota, and Donald and his wife Ilalee of Riceville, Iowa and four sisters: Donna and her husband Merlin Johnson of Meservey, Iowa, Vivian and her husband Delbert Pals of Alexander, Iowa, Judy Peils of Alexander, Iowa and Betty and her husband Scott Dungey of Osage, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Darold, and one sister Lila Hopkey.
