Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel B. D'Errico, 66, who died April 14, were held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Santa Monica, California.

Hazel Brown D'Errico was born January 17, 1917 near Carpenter, Iowa, the daughter of Herman and Elvina Dahl Brown. She was baptized on April 8, 1917 by Rev. M.E. Waldeland in Deer Creek Lutheran Church, Carpenter. At the age of 14 she was confirmed by Rev. M.E. Waldeland at Deer Creek Lutheran Church.

She attended schools in Carpenter and graduated from Carpenter high school in 1934. She attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a degree in nursing in1941. In September 1945 she married John D'Errico and they established their home in Santa Monica, California. She was employed at the Santa Monica hospital until her health failed.

Mrs. D'Errico is survived by a son, Roger D'Errico, and by a daughter, Diane Sondergard, both of Santa Monica; by her mother, Elvina Brown of St. Ansgar, Iowa; by a brother, Calvin Brown of Grafton, Iowa; by two sisters, Verna Reynolds of San Bernardino, California, and Ilene Wilder of Zenia, Ohio; and by four nieces and two nephews.
