MRS. SEAVER RITES HELD WEDNESDAY - LIFELONG RESIDENT OF ST. ANSGAR, IA BURIED HERE WEDNESDAY

Funeral rites for Mrs. William Seaver, 55, who died Christmas day in a Rochester, Minnesota hospital were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the First Lutheran church of which she was a regular attendant. Rev. Olaf A. Langehough, pastor, was in charge.

Minnie Nelson Seaver was born January 20, 1881 in Rock township near Mitchell and was the daughter of Mathias and Johanna Nelson. She was baptized in the Rock Creek Lutheran church by the Rev. John Olson and confirmed in the First Lutheran church at St. Ansgar by the same pastor in 1896.

February 17, 1904, she was united in marriage to William Seaver. To this union three children were born: Conrad of Mason City; Alice of Pine Ridge, South Dakota, and Wilma at home. Mr. & Mrs. Seaver lived on a farm south of St. Ansgar until 1912 when they moved to town where they have since resided.

Mrs. Seaver has been in poor health for more than a year. This latter part of November, she was admitted to a Rochester hospital where she submitted to an operation from which she did not recover, passing away on Christmas afternoon.

Besides her husband and three children, she leaves to revere her memory one sister, Mrs. Anna Fawyer [or may be Fawver], Austin, Minnesota; and a brother, Anton Nelson of Mitchell, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother.
