Pioneer Pass Away

John West Dies at His Home in Rawles Township
John West, an old Mills County settler, died last Thursday at 2 o'clock at his home northeast of Tabor, aged 76 years. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at Fairview M.E. church. He was a native of Ohio and had resided in Rawles township for 48 years. A wife and six children survive him.

The children are Mrs. Walter Aistrope, Mrs. Ira Goode and Mell West, Tabor; Mrs. Wm. Ruching, Silver City, and W.D. West, Bethany, Mo.
