Beatrice Huffman, 98, Glenwood

Beatrice Gladys Kruse Huffman, 98, of Glenwood, died Aug. 5, 2005 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs following a brief illness. Services were held Aug. 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Interment followed at Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Huffman was born Jan. 2, 1907 in Glenwood. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Huffman on Feb. 5, 1924 in Glenwood. They lived and farmed in Glenwood where they raised three children, Erman, Aileen and Virginia.

Mrs. Huffman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Erman Huffman; daughter, Aileen Huffman Felos; and a grandson, Randal Wilkins. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Huffman Wilkins; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent in her memory to Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood.
