Evelyn Osterholm, 94, Glenwood

Evelyn S. Osterholm, 94, of Glenwood, died Dec. 18, 2005, at Glen Haven Home in Glenwood.

Funeral serervices will be held today (Wednesday), Dec. 21, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood. Reverend Dennis Maaske will officiate the service.

Burial will be at the Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Osterholm was born on June 29, 1911, in Audubon County, to Ed and Sena Christina (Esbeck) Mardesen. She was married to Stewart Hanks Osterholm on June 30, 1931 in Audubon County. To this union three children were born: Nancy, Lynn and LeMar. She was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood. She was employed at the Glenwood Resource Center as a hospital supervisor. Playing bridge and spending time with her family and friends gave her much enjoyment.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and three brothers. She is survived by her children, Nancy and husband James "Sam" Lee of Glenwood; Lynn and wife Pauline Osterholm of Omaha; LeMar and wife Sharon Osterholm of Glenwood; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church or Glen Haven Home. Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood is in charge of arrangements.
