Red Oak Services for Mrs. Margaret Shearer

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Shearer, 58, who died Thursday, April 17, at Mesa, Ariz., were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Perryman chapel in Red Oak, with interment in the Evergreen cemetery.

Born Jan. 23, 1883, Mrs. Shearer was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Wolfe. She lived in Pennsylvania until she came to Iowa at the time of her marriage, April 10, 1910, at Red Oak to Louis G. Shearer, who died March 4, 1927, at Elliott.

The Shearers lived near Red Oak for five years, at Wigstone, Minn., for five years, near Elliott two years, and Mrs. Shearer had resided at Glenwood since then until six months ago when she went to Arizona for her health.

Survivors are the following brothers and sisters; J.P. Wolfe of Red Oak, Mrs. D.F. Wambaugh of Dallastown, Pa., Latimer, C.H. and J.H. Wolfe of York, Pa., Mrs. Carl Grenier of Lancaster, Pa., Mrs. Ethel Sites of Laurel, Pa.

Mrs. Shearer was a member of the Methodist church and of the Eastern Star at Elliott.
