Funeral services for Mrs. John S. Skaith, 65, whose death occurred Saturday at St. Joseph, Mo., were held there Sunday, and the body was brought to Tabor for burial, Monday at 3 p.m. Short services at Reeves funeral home were conducted by Rev. Albert Martin, pastor of the Christian church, St. Joseph.

Mrs. Skaith, formerly Nettie Starr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F.R. Starr, was born at Jacksonville, Ill., but when a small child moved with her parents to Council Bluffs, where they resided until 1891, when they came to Tabor. Again after her marriage in 1895 she lived in Council Bluffs for a number of years, and since has been in St. Joseph.

Surviving are her husband, John S. Skaith, St. Joseph; a son, Supt. F.L. Skaith, Dower, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Ivan Mahan, Kansas City, Mo.; her mother and one sister, Mrs. Lou Starr and Mrs. Bert Watts, Tabor; two brothers, Frank W. Starr and Earl Starr, Council Bluffs.
