Funeral Services Friday For Albert Williams

Albert R. Williams, 80, who had been in failing health for some years, died Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Reeves funeral home in Tabor, conducted by Rev. Peter Jacobs. Burial was in the Glenwood cemetery.

Except for several years residence in Nebraska, he had spent his entire life in or near Tabor. He was the son of Urban Williams, whose parents, Amos and Candace Williams, were among the earliest settlers in the Tabor locality, coming to a farm west of there in 1852. Surviving are two children, a son, Leonard Williams of Pomona, Calif., and a daughter, Mrs. Platte R. Stull of Hastings, Neb.; three brothers, Charles Williams, who lives north of Tabor; N.R. Williams of Frost Proof, Fla., and F.E. Williams of Spirit Lake, Idaho.
