Mrs. Donald Strand Dies in Oakdale

Mrs. Donald Strand passed away in the hospital in Oakdale Friday night. She had been taken there some weeks previous for treatment. Her husband, who was with Company I at Camp Dix was sent for and reached her bedside last Tuesday. Mrs. Strand, who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stroud of Malvern, graduated from the high school there with the class of 1941. She and Donald Strand of this city were married at Rock Port, Missouri, on July 13, of last year.

Funeral services were held in Malvern this Monday afternoon.
