Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, May 20th, at 2:30 o'clock from the St. John's Episcopall church for Mrs. Josephine Bridges who died on Monday at the home of her daughter Mrs. Charlotte Bottcher. Father Albert C. Baker of Council Bluffs was in charge of the service.

Interment was made in the Glenwood cemetery.

Mrs. Josephine Bridges was born on August 24, 1860 at Nebraska City, Nebr., and passed away on May 18th. She was 81 years, 8 months and 24 days of age. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Bottcher and Mrs. Charles Thomas of Glenwood, Mrs. Luetisha Ewing of Omaha, Mrs. Rose Cottrell of Sioux City, and Mrs. Kate Bray, Gillette, Wyo.

Also surviving are three sons, Amos of Colorado Springs, Colo., Rev. John of Blain, Washington, Ed of Sedro Woolley, Washington, also a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Bridges had resided in Glenwood for 16 years.
