Oliver Sylvester Hall was born in Hastings June 24, 1880, and died February 18, 1919, age 28 years, 8 months and 24 days. His entire life was spent in Hastings and vicinity. His father died in 1885 and his mother passed away in 1915.

He leaves two brothers, J.H. Hall and J.U. Hall, both of Hastings, and two sisters, Mrs. Arminda Baldozier, White Cloud, and Mrs. Eva Harris, Omaha. He was unmarried.

Funeral services were held Thursday, with burial at South Grove.
