Shirley L. Granteer, 85, of Hastings died November 14, 2001 at the Manor of Malvern. Funeral services were November 20, 2001 at Peterson Mortuary with burial in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Nancy Schultz officiated the services.

Mrs. Granteer waas the daughter of William Leslie and Vera Pearl (Stewart) Devine, born August 20, 1916 in Guthrie Center. She was married to Werden E. Granteer on November 30, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Hastings. She was a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church in Hastings.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband in 1990.

Survivors include her son, Raymond Granteer of Hastings; daughter, Geralding Bragg of Tuscon, Ariz.; sister, Genevieve Hendricks of California; grandchildren, Michael Bragg of Tuscon, Ariz., Dana Bragg and Jeffrey Bragg, both of California.

Memorials are suggested to Malvern Fire and Rescue.
