Johanna Creech was born near Fayetteville, Ark., June 1, 1839, and died in Glenwood, Ia., January 17, 1917, aged 77 years, 7 months and 16 days.

At the age of thirteen years she moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Creech, to Mills County, which until death has been her home.

The deceased was united in marriage to William Tague in 1860. To this union nine children were born. The husband and two children preceded her in death. The children are Mrs. Nancy Buckingham, Glenwood; J.P. Tague, Bronson, Ia.; Mrs. Ollie Temples, Caldwell, Ida.; Mrs. Ada Batman, Plattsmouth, Neb.; Mrs. Al Johnson, Bloomfield, Neb.; Joe Tague, Plattsmouth, Neb.; Mrs. Ella Daniels, Malvern, Ia. All the children were at the funeral except Mrs. Temples, who was not physically able to come.

Mrs. Tague united with the Methodist church about twenty-five years ago.

Funeral services were held on Friday at the home and burial was in the Waubonsie cemetery.
