May 6th, 1886

Mrs. Mary Willis, wife of Green Willis, and daughter of Joseph Myers, died at the home of her brother, John Myers, in Malvern, on Monday, May 8,and was buried Tuesday, Rev. J. F. St. Clair conducting the services. Mrs. Willis was born February 22, 1850, united with the M.E. church in 1872, and died in hope of a better life. The deceased was a victim of that dreaded disease, consumption, having been a sufferer for about a year past.
