SUDDEN DEATH

We are pained to announce the death of Mr. Clark, an aged and highly respected resident of this vicinity, which occurred suddenly on Monday evening last.

Mr. Clark was in apparent good health on Monday, and was present at the polls in this city on the morning of that day.

Before the next day's sun rose, he was locked in the cold embrace of death.

His remains were borne to their final resting place on Tuesday evening, attended by a large number of our most prominent citizens. In the midst of life we are in death.
