Ronald “Ronnie” Leon Morris, 48, of Pacific Junction, died Jan. 9, 2005, in Council Bluffs. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 13, 2 p.m., at the Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. Pastor Darrell Hopp will officiate the service. Burial will be at the Martin Chapel Cemetery in Pacific Junction.

Mr. Morris was the son of Oscar Leon and Ethel Belle (Foreman) Morris, born July 12, 1956, in Omaha, Neb. He faithfully served his country in the Navy from 1973-77. He was employed with Allen Hughes Construction. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was always playing a prank on someone for a good laugh. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and went on numerous poker runs. In his spare time he enjoyed playing pool, fishing or working on his bike.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by son Dana Morris and daughter Sara Morris of Council Bluffs; companion Cindi Babb of Pacific Junction; parents Oscar and Ethel Morris of Clarinda and John and Janett Babb of Glenwood; sisters Deborah Hurd of Neola, Donna Cunningham of Coin, Carol Thomas of Clarinda and Barb Hulsebus of Tennant; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Memorials are suggested to the Pacific Junction Emergency Services. Peterson Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
