Grace Lucille Hopp, 94 years, seven months, six days, entered into eternal rest August 7, 2004 at the Methodist Nursing Home in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born January 1, 1910 to Millard Cress and Zella Irene (VanHorn) Dunagan in Council Bluffs, Iowa. After graduating from high school, Grace attended the University of Nebraska for one year. She was a teacher in a one-room school house.

Later she was a Social Worker for many years at the Glenwood State Hospital School. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the PEO Sisterhood, Chapter FF, Glenwood.

She was united in marriage to Edward William Hopp on September 3, 1930 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. To this union, two daughters were born: Nancy and Kathleen (Candy). They made their home in Glenwood for many years before moving to Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ed, on June 22, 1999. Grace is survived by her daughters, Nancy Kalman of Spring Hill, Kansas and Kathleen (Candy) Foster of Fort Smith, Arkansas; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Glenwood, Iowa Cemetery. Peterson Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
