Mrs. Mary A. Parmer died on Christmas day at her home in Malvern, and the funeral was held the following day from the Methodist church. She was born Sept. 21, 1844, and was married in Decatur County, Iowa in 1865 to Joseph T. Parmer, whose death took place six years ago.

She is survived by four daughters and two sons.
