Mrs. Joseph Shepardson died December 26 at the age of 72 years, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edgar Brittain, south of Tabor. Death was due to pneumonia.

The deceased was twice married, her first husband being Isaac Hardy, by whom she raised a large family.

The funeral exercises were held Wednesday at the Baptist church, with Elder Charles Frye of Burlington officiating.
