Helen Mae Tackett, 74, of Glenwood, died Nov. 4, 2004, at the Glen Haven Home. Funeral services were held Nov. 8 at the Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. Pastor Steve Frazee officiated the services. Burial was at the Glenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Tackett was the daughter of Francis Vivian and Helen Dorathea (Goodrich) Walker, born Sept. 27, 1930, in Omaha, Neb. She was united in marriage to Walter Allen Tackett on Feb. 7, 1960 in Tabor. To this union two children were born. She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She crocheted many beautiful afghans throughout the years for her family and friends to enjoy.

Mrs. Tackett was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Walter Tackett of Glenwood; sons Carl A. Tackett of G1enwood and Matt Tackett and wife Charlene of Pacific Junction; grandchildren Thomas Tronetti and Angela Tronetti; one great-grandchi1d; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice Preferred Choice.

Peterson Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
