Frances Scheel, 87, of Mineola died Oct. 14, 2004 at the Woodlands Rehabilitation Center in Council Bluffs.

Visitation will be Tuesday at Hertz Funeral Home in Glenwood with the family present from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mineola. Burial will be in the Mineola Cemetery

Survivors include daughters, Jeannette Rath and husband, Darrell, of Treynor and Connie Vanecek and husband, Robert, of Council Bluffs; sisters, Alma Leu of Hastings, Linda Deacon of Creston and Arlene Scheel, Marvel Kruse and Alice Rohrberg, all of Glenwood; five grandsons, seven great-grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be given in her name.
