DEATH ANGEL CLAIMS SPIRIT OF MRS. M.L. WOLFE - - Funeral Services Held at the Home in This City Last Saturday Afternoon and Burial Made in Glenwood Cemetery - - Daisey May Wolfe (nee Chambers) was born in California, Mo., Feb. 7, 1891, and fell asleep at her late home in Glenwood, Iowa, Nov. 26, 1926, aged 34 years, 9 months and 19 days. October 11, 1908, she was united in marriage with Charles Lee Birdsong. This union was blest with one daughter, Miss Bessie Gertrude Birdsong, who so kindly ministered to her mother in her illness. After three years of happiness and joy she was bereft of her husband and made her home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Chambers, of California, Mo., until February 28, 1915, when she became the wife of M.L. Wolfe, of this city.

This happy union was blest with one daughter, Beulah Mae Wolfe, of Glenwood, Iowa. For several years Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe lived on a farm about ? (not legible) miles south of this city and ......(not legible). Mrs. Wolfe was an exceptionally fine woman, a loving wife, a tender and thoughtful mother, and a daughter greatly beloved. She lived a beautiful life of self sacrifice so that in all her affliction she never murmured or complained. She was hopeful of regaining her health so that she might be spared to her dear ones, but at last the tired heart gave way and her beautiful spirit took its flight. She was a believer in Christ as her personal friend and Saviour. She appreciated the pastoral visits and prayers which were offered at her sick bed side.

In the summer time she took great delight in her flowers and her beautiful character seems to rejoice in the voices of nature. Her kindly influence will bless all those who have known her in the years that have gone.

She leaves, besides her sorrowing husband and two daughters, her parents and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Burkeschuster, of California, Mo.; Mrs. Henry Heinen, Mrs. Morgan Pruitt and Golder Chambers, all of California, Mo.; Mrs. Elmer Balles, of Bethel, Kan., and R.B. Chambers, of Kansas City, Kan., also many other relatives and friends who mourn the going of this splendid woman. Funeral services were conducted last Sunday at 2:30, at the late home, by Rev. J.H. Freedline, assisted by Rev. Schoemaker. Interment was in Glenwood cemetery. Out-of-town friends in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Reinhardt, of Jefferson City, Mo., also Elsie Pruitt, Jefferson City, Mo.
