Deborah Louise Brammer Kinzie, 48, of Glenwood, died December 22, 2002, at her home. Funeral services were held December 27, 2002, at the First Christian Church in Glenwood. Pastor Ron Wooten-Green officiated at the service. Interment was at the Tabor Cemetery.

Mrs. Kinzie was the daughter of Marvin K. and Betty E. (Wise) Brammer, born December 11, 1954, in Omaha, Nebraska. She lived in Plattsmouth, Nebraska until 1967 when the family moved to rural Tabor. She loved living in the country, riding the family ponies and wading in the creek with her sister and brothers. In 1972 the family moved into the town of Tabor, where she attended the Church of the Nazarene and graduated from Fremont Mills High School. In March 1872 she was united in marriage to William Shere. They were blessed with two children, Trisha and Ryan. For the next few years she worked at the Tabor Manor Nursing Home. In 1976 she began working as a resident treatment worker at the Glenwood Resource Center. She was a faithful worker for 23 years until disabled by her illness, retiring in 2001. She married Bob Kinzie at the Glenwood Lake Park on June 18, 1999. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. "Nana" as her grandchildren called her, always put her family first. She enjoyed camping, fishing and playing cards, and also enjoyed her work at the Glenwood Resource Center.

Mrs. Kinzie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lee and Estelle Wise of Tabor and Raymond and Fern Brammer of Randolph. She is survived by her parents; husband Bob of Glenwood; daughters Trisha and Melissa; son Ryan; grandchildren Alexander and Mallory; sister Susan Houchen and husband Gene of Lincoln, Nebraska; brothers Mike Brammer and wife Kathy of Liberty, Missouri, and Tim Brammer and wife Linda of Glenwood; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
