Richard L. Blowers, 56, Pacific Junction
Richard L. Blowers, 56, of Pacific Junction, died Jan. 13, 2003, in Council Bluffs. Funeral services were held Jan. 17, 2003, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Glenwood. Rev. Paul Monahan officiated at the service. Burial will be at the Martin Chapel Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Blowers was the son of Charles and Alma (Shaw) Blowers, born March 14, 1946, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He married Suzanne Marie Hartsky on June 21, 1980, in Wilmington, Delaware. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a 4th degree Knight.

Mr. Blowers was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne of Pacific Junction; son Richard Blowers of Pacific Junction; daughters Samantha J. Blowers of Glenwood and Ruth Ann Blowers of Pacific Junction; grandson Lathon Cole Sutton Jr. of Pacific Junction; brother Jack Blowers of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and sister Mary Rogers and husband Bill of Florida.

A memorial fund has been established. Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood was in charge of arrangements.
