Joseph Wright died last Friday in a cabin where he has lived with his family near the Plattsmouth bridge. He was a poor man about 55 years old, and leaves destitute a wife and several small children. From the fact, however, that he was an old soldier, they will hereafter receive pension sufficient for their support.

It is said that his death was due to a disease contracted from the forceps used by a dentist in pulling a tooth for him some time ago.
