DEATH OF JOHN Q. GRAHAM

John Q. Graham, a former well known resident of Emerson and for eighteen years Post Master of Emerson, moved to Minneapolis 15 years ago following death of Mrs. Graham and made his home with his daughters. Died at his home in Minneapolis, September 3, 1928.

He served throughout the Civil War with Co C. 36th Illinois Infantry. Was active in the Presbyterian Church.

The body was brought to Emerson, September 6, 1928, and burial was made in the family lot in the Emerson Cemetery. The services at the cemetery were in charge of the local Masonic lodge ol which he was a long time member.

Mr. Graham was born In Erie, Pa. on March 1, 1836 and at the time of his death was 92 years of age. He lived in Emerson for many years up until about fifteen years ago when, following the death of Mrs. Graham, he removed to Minneapolis to make his home with his daughters. Mr. Graham was very active in the Presbyterian church.

He is survied by 4 daughters, Mrs. Lorena West, Mrs. J. N. Tollinger of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Mrs. Charles E. Trueblood of Roseburg, Oregon. 5 grandchildren, and 4 greatgradchildren.
