Thurs. Nov. 28, 1895

Mrs. Henrietta Jacquat, wife of Joseph Jacquat, died at her home in this city, Thursday, November 21, 1895, at 8 o'clock a.m. On the the 16th Mrs. Jacquat received a stroke of paralysis, the vocal organs being especially affected, and from which she never rallied. Loving hands did all that was possible to alleviate her sufferings, but her hour had come and she peacefully passed away at the hour above named.

The funeral services were held at the home Saturday, Rev. Mr. Watson officiating. The deceased was born at West Woodside, near Haxey, Lincolnshire, England July 6, 1839. She was united in marriage to Christopher Kelsey, February 22, 1855, and came to America in 1868. Four daughters were born to her, all of whom are living as follows, Mrs. Annie B. Windom, Mrs. J.H. Shere, Mrs. Nellie Mary and Miss Mary Kelsey.
