THE MALVERN LEADER January 17, 1884

Mrs. Nancy Cook, the aged mother of Mrs. John Higgins, of this place, passed from time to eternity Thursday last. Deceased was 93 years of age, and had been confined to her bed for most of the time for a year past. In addition to Mrs. Higgins, she had three children, residing in Council Bluffs,- Mrs. D? Jeffries, Mrs. Shields and Mrs. Stephen Cook. The remains were taken to the Bluffs and last Saturday, according to the rites of the Catholic Church, the funeral being largely attended.
