Mrs. Ann Sophie Andrews died December 28, at 8 O'clock at her home in Hillsdale, after a short illness. She was born in Frederick County, Maryland, August 18, 1815, and was 73years old when she died. Her maiden name was Ramsey. Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey came to this part of the country among the early settlers. Mr. Andrews died about three years ago and since his death Mrs. Andrews has been very lonely, which is natural. We do not know when she was converted. She was a member of the M.E. Church, a devoted companion, a kind mother and faithful friend. She was highly esteemed and respected by all, and will be greatly missed, not only by the little town but the whole community. A very large congregation of neighbors and friends attended the funeral service at Hillsdale. The remains were gently laid away to rest beside her husband in the Glenwood Cemetery. Three children survive and in their loneliness and sorrow share the sympathy and prayers of a large circle of friends.
