John Rainey, aged 56 died at Mercy Hospital Friday evening following an illness since January. He was born in Missouri and came to Cass County, NE, with his parents when he was a child. His life time was spent in Plattsmouth and Mills County. He is survived by his wife and one son; his aged mother, Mrs. Isabel Rainey; six brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services were held from the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Glenwood on Sunday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. J. F. Stille, and burial was in Glenwood cemetery.

His wife was Bertha Stacy of Glenwood. More facts later.
