Memorial services for Mrs. Sarah Cozad were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Mansfield Funeral Home with the Rev. Gordon McMillan, officiant.
Mrs. J. A. Kline accompanied Mrs. Gordan C. McMillan as she sand, "Beautiful Isla of Somewhere" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."
Pall bearers were Clarence Myers, Frank Evans, Bly Perkins, Corwin Hardy, I. R. Wallace, and Claude Sullivan. Interment was made in the Malvern Cemetery.

Sarah Nancy Elizabeth Mason, daughter of Abner and Mary Mason, was born September 27, 1879 in Fremont County at Thurman. She passed away Saturday morning, October 30 at the Good Samaritan Rest Home in Tabor. She was there but a few days.

Her childhood was spent in and around Tabor and Thurman She was united in marriage to John Cozad June 14, 1887 at Tabor. She united with the Christian Church in Malvern in 1921 and afterwards at the Baptist Church. To this union was born five girls and five boys all of whom are living, Mrs. Bessie Atkinson, Randolph, Mrs. Clara Atkinson, Henry Cozad, Walter Cozad, Mrs. Ethel Jackson, Ernest Cozad, Malvern. Mrs. Gladys Green, Pacific Junction, Mrs. Viola Tuckett, Buena, Washington, Omer Cozad, Strahan, and Robert Cozad, Fresno, California.

Her husband John Cozad preceded her in death January 7, 1921. She leaves 41 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren to cherish her memory. Also of her immediate family is Mrs. Neil Sheldon and Mrs. Ann Cummings, Nebraska, Gene Mason, Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Charles Mason, Kansas City, Kansas.
She leaves to mourn her passing 79 direct descendants and a host of relatives and friends.
