GLENWOOD TRIBUNE, April 28, 1949
LeRoy Hammers died Saturday, April 23, at the home of her daughter, Vivian, in Omaha.
Services will be held in the Raynor chapel with the Rev. Lyle Poush of the Nazareene church officiating. The time of the service will be pending the arrival of Sgt. Charles Hammers who is flying here from Germany.
Burial will be in the Glenwood cemetery. Mrs. Hammers is survived by ten children; Mrs. Bonnie Kimbrough and Roy Jr. of Glenwood; Miss Vivian Hammers of Omaha; Mrs Dorothy Fuson of Court Elaine, Idaho; Mrs. Esther Carnofsky of Los Angeles, Cal.; Sgt. Charles, US Army in Germany; Mrs. Vesta Anderson, Mrs. Lorraine Cunedy and Mrs. Catherine Frizzle, all of Port Townsend, Wash.; Milo of Seattle, Wash,; also fourteen grandchildren.
Five brothers, Don of Davenport; Clyde of Pacific Junction; John of Glenwood; Arch of Council Bluffs and Mylo Hart of Austin, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Frances Koen of Odessa, Mo..
