Angela F. (Angie) Kent-Murphy was born Jan. 17, 1935, in Mead, Neb., to Irvin B. and Nellie Harms and entered into eternal rest on Aug. 5, 2011, in Apache Junction, Ariz.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at the United Methodist Church in Mingo, Iowa.

Angie married Marvin Murphy on Jan. 2, 1992, in Des Moines, Iowa, and they moved to Apache Junction, Ariz., in 1995.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin; her daughter, Debra De Young of Glenwood, Iowa; a stepdaughter, Becky Teut (Ed Dieleman), a stepson, Mark (Jean) Murphy, all of Ankeny, Iowa; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in her name to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix AZ, 85014, or to the American Cancer Society.
