Services for Vivian Clipson Coffey were held at Peterson Mortuary on August 30, 1997. with Rev. Richard T Wheatley officiating.
Vivian was born February 2, 1902 to Raoul and Dora (Sidenor) Clipson. She passed away at the Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs, Iowa August 27, 1997.
Vivian attended school in Silver City, Iowa and went on to attend college in Council Bluffs and Greely, Colo. to become a teacher. She taught in Mt. Vernon Country School and Silver City Public schools.
She moved to Glenwood with her family to open a paint and papering business in 1928.
She was married in 1932 to Oloff W. Coffey. She resided in Pacific Junction, Silver City, Sharpsburg, Glenwood and Council Bluffs until the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her husband,parents, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her son, Olaf Clipson and wife Marilyn Coffey of Council Bluffs, Iowa; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Interment was in the Silver City Cemetery in Silver City, Iowa.
Peterson Mortuary of Glenwood, Iowa was in charge of the arrangements.
