Albert E. Sherman, 6020 Fairview Avenue, died Friday morning in a local hospital after an illness of several months. He was 76.

Mr. Sherman was born October 24, 1881 at Emerson, Iowa and married Blanche Close at Inwood, Iowa, November 26, 1904. They
moved to Boise in 1931. He was employed with Randall-Dodd auto company and for a number of years was an instructor with the
Forest Service. He also worked with the vocational education department until his retirement in 1951. He was preceded in death by
his wife in 1956. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Rathbone, Boise; two brothers, Fred Sherman and Harry Sherman, both of Boise; two
sisters, Mrs. Amy Dodds of Boise, and Mrs. Iva Harris of Madison, South Dakota; six grandchildren and seventeen great
grandchildren. Services will be announced by Summers Chapel.
