dated Wed., January 3, 2007Mike Mielke, age 61, of Silver City, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, in Council Bluffs. Cremation services were provided by Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home.
Mielke was born June 22, 1945, in Council Bluffs to Charles and Dolores Weaver Mielke. He graduated from Treynor High School and later married Sharon Mass on Oct. 24, 1964. Mielke was owner and operator of Mielke Sandblasting for 18 years.
He is survived by wife Sharon Mielke of Silver City; daughter Shannon Bomer and husband Darren of Mineola; daughter Leah Ann Luff and husband Bryce of Unadilla, Neb.; son Van Mielke of New York; sister Mary Strobehn and husband Doug of Blair, Neb.; and four grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Silver City Ambulance Fund.
