THE OPINION-TRIBUNE
DATED DECEMBER 21, 1967:

Army Pfc. Paul Hamilton, Jr., 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hamilton, Sr. of Des Moines, was killed in Viet Nam last Wednesday during a Viet Cong Mortar attack on his base, his parents were notified Friday.

The elder Hamilton is well known in Glenwood since he was associated with the Raynor-Hamilton Funeral Home here.

The youth had been in Viet Nam only about three weeks. He enlisted in the Army nine months ago.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Pamela.
