THE OPINION-TRIBUNE
DATED NOVEMBER 30, 1967:

Lt. (j.g.) William H. Murphy III, U. S. Navy, the son of a former Mills County woman, Julie Ann Godsey Murphy, was killed in action recently in Viet Nam, according to word received here.

He was aboard a helicopter shot down while on a flight to evacuate men wounded in battle.

Burial will be at Ft. Douglas, Utah.

His mother is a sister of Sam and Carn Godsey of Mills County and Mrs. Margaret Doty, who is at Glen Haven.
