Juanita Grindle, 76, of Bartlett, died Nov. 22, 2004 at her daughter’s home in Bartlett following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2 p.m., at the Crawford-Marshall Funeral Chapel in Tabor. Rev. Darrell Hopp and Gary Moles will officiate the services. Interment will be at the Thurman Cemetery.
Mrs. Grindle was the daughter of Murvin N. and Madeline A. (Taylor) Taylor, born Feb. 2, 1928, in Adair County. She worked as a licensed practical nurse for 30 years with the Glenwood State Hospital-School and was a member of the Bartlett Community Church, where she was very active in several groups. She was also a member of the VFW Post #7064 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Grindle was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dorvwin Grindle, previous husband Larry Albertsen and infant son Ralph David Grindle. She is survived by daughter Carol Doty and husband Dean of Bartlett; sons Kevin Dean Albertsen and wife Ballerie of Riverton and Terry Lee Albertsen and wife Marlene of Bartlett; eight grandchildren; sister Larue Wheelock and husband Art of Anita; brothers Norman Taylor and wife Carolyn of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Bill Taylor of Casey; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Bartlett Community Church. The Crawford-Marshall Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
