THE OPINION-TRIBUNE
DATED APRIL 17, 1985:Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Raynor Funeral Home Chapel for Cecile M. Ross, 90, of Glenwood. She died Monday evening in a local hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Ross was born in Topeka, Kan. but has lived in Glenwood most of her lifetime. She worked as a seamstress for the Glenwood State Hospital-School for about 17 years, was a member of the First Baptist Church over 64 years, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Her husband, W. M. Ross, died 51 years ago.
Survivors include a son, Dale of Gainsville, Va.; three daughters, Edna Humphrey of Warrensburg, Mo., Eva Evans of Glenwood and Ruth Carrick of Omaha; two half brothers, Noah Wilson of Omaha and John Fenn Wilson of California; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Clyde Harmon will officiate, with interment at Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Raynor's tonight from 7-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or the Heart Fund.
